Running doesn’t feel hard because you’re unfit. If your muscles aren’t strong enough, they won’t carry your body very well. Strong muscles help to support your joints, power your stride, and prevent you from breaking down at 3km!

Power to Pace is a small group PT program for runners who want to train smarter. It’s not about lifting heavy for ego. It’s about lifting smart for performance — with muscles that protect, stabilise and let you run better, for longer.

Power to Pace personal training program in Macclesfield focused on strength, endurance, and injury resilience for runners

Why I created this program?

Building Efficiency

I’m not sure why more people aren’t talking about how much easier running becomes when we add in strength training. It turns a frustrating run into an efficient one.

Strength doesn’t always mean “bulk”

You don’t need to fear the weights, you’re not going to automatically get “bulky”, you’re going to get better at running. Reducing injury, tightness, early fatigue and improving pace. Stronger muscles help to absorb shock and avoid placing this pressure on joints.

Don’t just “stretch more”

Most running issues aren’t flexibility-related. They are strength and control problems. And this program is designed to target exactly that.

Running may feel like an individual sport, but it doesn’t have to be something you do alone. This program will also introduce you to like-minded individuals, providing a space to train alongside others who get you!

I’d love to have you there,

Tash x
